Research Directive

As an education think tank, we produce original policy research, deploy philanthropic capital, and leverage rigorous data to dismantle systemic barriers in STEM, worldwide.

Our Origin

From East Baltimore to a Worldwide Network.

STEMpathize began with a belief that extraordinary students exist everywhere, including communities where opportunity has historically been constrained by systemic barriers.

Starting in East Baltimore, we built cost-free tutoring programs for at-risk youth. We listened to students. We provided mentorship. And we proved that when you provide access, brilliance follows.

Today, that single community effort has grown into an international organization with a network spanning all 50 U.S. states and countries abroad.
